Color
Sparkling golden yellow.
Nose
The 2016 Pinot Gris Cuvée Sainte Catherine is a compact, dense wine that doesn't quite reveal itself at the moment. It demands oxygen, then slowly reveals nutty notes, the scent of Christmas stollen, quince bread and honey. Its fruit is reminiscent of apricot, quince, mango and orange zest. A great and complex Pinot Gris, which already invites to taste despite its youth.
Palate
On the palate, the 2016 Pinot Gris Cuvée Sainte Catherine presents itself with juicy, sweet fruit and a stimulating and spicy note. It still seems pleasantly unfinished at the moment due to its striking minerality. A wine with impressive length, which also manages to inspire with freshness in the finish. Absolutely store, one can burn with him in a few years the one or other culinary fireworks.
Recommendation
Decant if possible and serve in a sufficiently large glass.
