Liv Vincendeau is a winemaker in Anjou. However, she was born in Darmstadt, did her Master's degree in York, England, and then came to the region around Angers in 2000 after a stopover in Strasbourg to complete her winemaking apprenticeship. Liv stayed there. She founded her domain Vincendeau in 2014, although the ä is by no means a misprint. She has remained true to the umlaut from her youth. Although the domain also produces still wines, the main focus is undoubtedly on sparkling wines and Crémant de Loire, which she produces as a single-varietal Chenin Blanc as well as a rosé and a cuvée of Chenin Blanc and Grolleau Noir.
