Nose
The Grenache from Navarre seems to have arrived in the glass. The few years of bottle ripeness suit it very well and it was able to shed its primary fruity garb. Cassis, sweet cherries and plums buzz in the glass. However, it lives much more from clove, cardamom and juniper. A little tree bark, spruce needles and cedar wood leave clearly ethereal traces. White pepper and cinnamon round it off successfully.
Palate
On the nose, it seems phenomenally cool. Fortunately, the Grenache lives from a gripping acid structure. It makes its way with a lot of drive and drinking flow. At the same time, it seems amazingly linear and slender. The fruit seems small-berried and acidic. The aromas of the nose come to the fore again in a similar composition. In the aftertaste, it is still present for a long time and presents mainly sour cherry in large doses.
