Tasting note
Color:
Clear, silvery straw yellow with green reflections
Nose:
At this young stage, the cuvée still lives from the flavours of fermentation, which can be quite charming. Blossoms of acacia, apple, almond and jasmine. It is characterised by plenty of bright fruit. Freshly sliced Conference pear, yellow and green apples and whitecurrant. The wine combines the tart apple flavour very well with lemon zest. The floral notes linger and add elegance. Freshly chopped almonds and delicate hints of savoury biscuits build up. Lemon balm, sage, mint and chervil provide a light herbal breeze.
Palate:
On the palate, it is charming, elegant, bright and clear. A very clean wine that is slightly kissed by yeasty nuances. Its moderate acidity structure is enveloped by a delicate melting texture. It is lengthy and allows the fruit to emerge again and again. The finish is slightly bitter with nutty components. This offers the fruit new opportunities to develop. The herbs have a revitalising effect on the finish.
Food pairing suggestions

- Marinated trout with horseradish cream sauce and toasted sourdough bread
