The story of the gifted winemaker Jean François Hébrard is more exciting to read than a book. His grandfather and father were already winemakers in Bordeaux. After studying oenology in his native Bordeaux, Jean François was able to gain his first practical experience. This was followed by stays in Burgundy and central Spain, until he finally found his dream in the Toro region. He immediately recognised the potential that the extremely poor soils in combination with old vines could produce. He immediately applied the biodynamic practices that he had previously learnt from the cult winemaker Laurent Combier, a pioneer of organic viticulture. The result is pure, top-quality wines.
