Color
Bright sparkling ruby red
Nose
The reduction typical of Heinrich has an animating effect and gives the impression of a slender, racy type of red wine. Thus, it seems forced into a tight corset. With oxygen and time in the carafe or a large glass, the aromas become increasingly apparent. Above all, tart berries such as raspberry, redcurrant, sour cherry and cassis fight for aromatic supremacy. This is supported by a fine herbal spiciness. Unusually, it comes up trumps with roasted aromas reminiscent of coffee beans.
Palate
Immediately precise and straight forward on the palate. Pinot Noir for the advanced or unprejudiced. The sour cherry fruit in particular now puts its stamp on it. A great balance of juiciness, acidity and a totally lean appearance. The astringency leads to plenty of movement in the mouth. This stimulates the drinking flow enormously. Light, digestible and animating. With a noticeable minerality, it clearly stretches into the length. Even in the finish, the berry fruits paired with red fruit tea and lovage remain on the palate for minutes.
