A focused white wine with a moderate alcohol content of 12.5% ABV, carrying the signature of winemaking duo Lía Fariña and Jean-François Hébrard. The style relies on cool freshness, a savoury, saline depth and a fine, vibrant acidity, all achieved without heavy oak influence.

Terroir & Origin

The Bierzo region, situated at the transition between Galicia and Castile and León, offers a unique continental-Atlantic climate. The grapes grow on complex soils composed of iron oxide, slate and limestone. This mineral-rich earth imparts its signature grip and a grounded tension to the wine’s palate.

Grape Variety & Vinification

The indigenous Godello grape variety is renowned for its balance of creamy mouthfeel and citrusy freshness. In the cellar, Sangarida follows a minimalist approach, bringing the natural aromatics of the fruit into the glass in an unadulterated fashion and offering an unvarnished reflection of the terroir.

Food Pairings

Thanks to its dry, crisp character, this white wine pairs perfectly with grilled prawns, light sashimi, sea bass ceviche or Spanish soft goat’s cheese.
