Color:

The wine shows itself in bright lemon yellow with white-golden reflexes and fine perlage clear and shiny in the glass.

Nose:

With immense subtlety, the very first nose of this blend of 50% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir each exhibits depth in in-phase vibration with expressive power. The bouquet of this expressive wine tells stories of heaven and earth, of fruit and of soil. Delicate aromas of sea buckthorn, wild strawberry and quince, as well as a beguiling scent of rhubarb and candied tangerine peel. Closely allied to fennel greens,, orange mint and green tea, delicate toasty notes of beechnut and walnut and Turkish honey with almonds and a hint of white truffle thicken the picture. Vinous, unobtrusive and multilayered, this charismatic Champagne arouses curiosity.

Palate:

The Cumières Premier Cru Brut Nature from Georges Laval is just as well-balanced, even resting in itself, as the promise of its nose announced. Delicate and teasing, it occupies even the last corner of the mouth. Equally delicate in its playfulness as confident in its vinous spiciness, it lines the palate. Its yellow-fleshed, ripe fruit is uncompromisingly driven by agile acidity and delicately bitter phenolics. Generating the drinking flow, with the winking sovereignty and at the same time the respectability of a Heinz Rühmann and stimulating, mouth-watering draught on the palate, the Cumières Brut Nature of Georges Laval inevitably makes you want more.
