Champagne Louise Brison is named after the great-grandmother of the current owner Delphine Brulez, who took over the estate in 2006 from her father Francis, who was one of the most important pioneers in the production of quality wine on the Côte des Bar. He laid the foundations in his vineyards for Delphine to produce Chardonnay and Pinot Noir today with organic and biodynamic viticulture, gentle pruning and a dynamisation of the soil, which are refined into outstanding champagnes through precise pressing, ageing in wood and long lees storage. They shine with their very own tension, freshness and saltiness, precision and clarity, structure and fine perlage. The basis for this character, alongside Delphine's work, is the special nature of the Kimmerdige soils that characterise her vineyards. Their plots, which are cultivated with great care, are located at 280 to 320 metres above sea level and face south-east.
