Color
Muted garnet red with clear violet reflections.
Nose
Freshly poured, the 2014 Saint Aubin Rouge "Le Ban" shows more of beguiling red and dark fruits, sweet black cherries, blueberries and cassis seduce the taster immediately. With a little oxygen contact, fine spicy notes join in, reminiscent of cedar wood, cinnamon and licorice wrapped in ethereal notes such as lavender and juniper.
Palate
Stimulating and fresh, the 2014 Saint Aubin Rouge "Le Ban" arrives on the tongue with stimulating acidity and fine-grained tannin structure. Every sip makes you want more and the juicy fruitiness lingers into the long finish. A wine that you want to enjoy solo or with refined cuisine with fruity and spicy tendencies.
