Colour & appearance

Presented in a light ruby red colour with delicate garnet reflections. The colour already reveals the classic Passetoutgrain assemblage and shows the youthful freshness of this uncomplicated Burgundy.

Nose

The bouquet reveals a charming melange of red cherries and Raspberriesunderpinned by subtle floral notes. The Gamay component brings a fruity lightness, while the Pinot Noir provides Burgundian elegance and a subtle earthiness. Herbal flavours of Thyme and a hint of white pepper round off the flavour profile.

Palate

On the palate, the wine is refreshingly accessible with lively acidity and silky tannins. The fruit is clearly in the foreground - Sour cherries and redcurrants flavours dominate, accompanied by an underlying mineral structure. The moderate alcohol content of 12% gives the wine a pleasant drinkability. The finish is of medium length and leaves a clean, fruity aftertaste.
