Wine information
The blend of 50% Mourvèdre and 50% Carignan was macerated in the press, direct pressed and aged in concrete tanks.
Color
Cloudy strawberry red with lightening towards the rim.
Nose
The 2020 Rollaball conveys pure freshness - red and black currants, rhubarb, sloe and lots of cool stony notes, rosehip, rosemary, thyme, juniper and white pepper. Puristic, clear and animating.
Palate
With exactly this freshness it lays on the tongue and tickles it with salty notes and fine phenolic. Tom Lubbe simply knows how to make wines that animate incredibly, to celebrate, to drink empty and to eat - and that with 11.5 Vol%, wine heart, what more do you need?
