Terroir & Origin

Col d’Orcia ranks among the most renowned estates in southern Montalcino, nestled in the gently rolling hills of Tuscany near Sant’Angelo in Colle. The soils of Galestro and Alberese – calcareous, clayey, well-drained – lend the estate’s wines a mineral depth and structural tension. The 2021 vintage benefited in Tuscany from a balanced climate with warm days and cool nights, which preserved aromatic freshness despite high ripeness.

Grape Variety & Vinification
