Info about the situation

South Tyrolean simple Pergel and Gujot in very steep terrain on loamy sand, of volcanic origin, and morenic deposits (porphyry, basalt and granite), very deep and permeable.

Info about the expansion

Biodynamic without the help of tractors.
After the hand harvest, the grapes were crushed, spontaneous fermentation in wooden fermentation racks, without temperature control, with 80 % of crests for 5 weeks, including post maceration, on the skins.

Color

Deep dark black-red, minimal purple brightening towards the rim.

Nose

The 2016 Laurenc is a blast lots of black cherries, lots of blackberry, firewood, juniper, wood smoke, peat and tar. It seems incredibly youthful and lively and at the same time so profound and compact.

Palate

Wild and original with expansive dark fruit it pours on the tongue. Distinctive ripe tannins, a fascinating coolness and this saltiness. Lagrein at it's best! Best served slightly chilled with original cuisine.
