Wine information
90 minuts is a red wine cuvée made from the autochthonous grape varieties Garnacha Tinta and Cariñena as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, which was introduced in Priorat in the 1980s. The Trossos del Priorat winery cultivates the vineyards organically. The wine matured for 12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels.
Color
Cherry red with purple edges
Nose
The bouquet is dominated by red fruits that go a bit into the boiled down. A subtle vanilla note hovers in the background. The nose has a warm Mediterranean feel, but is fresh at the same time.
Palate
90 minuts falls into the easy-drinking category. The wine tastes red-fruity and the soft sweet tannin caresses the palate. The twelve months of barrique and the 14 percent alcohol content are well integrated. Overall, the aromatic red wine has a silky texture as well as a medium body, medium acidity and medium length. The Gewächs comes rather via softness and warmth and is thus not untypical for its Mediterranean origin.
