Tasting note

Colour & Appearance
Intense, slightly hazy golden yellow with fine rose-gold reflections.
Nose
A dense fruit spectrum opens with juicy mirabelle plum, ripe pear, stewed apple and orange. Spicy accents of hay, aniseed and white pepper combine with meadow flowers, rose petals and a touch of smoke to create a complex impression.
Palate
On the palate, it reveals a tactile texture with stimulating tannins and a cool, lively acid structure. Salty minerality and juicy fruit deliver immense freshness and an uninhibited, effortless drinkability at a slender 12.0% ABV.
Terroir & Origin
The wine unites two distinct worlds of Burgenland: the cool hillside vineyards of the Leithagebirge west of Lake Neusiedl lend notes of limestone and slate, while the Parndorfer Platte to the east and the Heideboden contribute gravel and humic depth.
Grape Variety & Vinification
Gernot and Heike Heinrich craft this cuvée from Chardonnay, Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder, Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner and Roter Traminer. The grapes are left on the skins overnight with their stems, spontaneously fermented and undergo full malolactic fermentation. The wine matures for a year on its lees in large wooden casks and is bottled unfiltered.
Food Pairings
Pairs brilliantly with flavourful vegetarian cuisine, such as an aubergine curry with peanut sauce and basmati rice.
Key Features
As a Demeter-certified estate and co-founders of respekt-BIODYN, the Heinrich family represent uncompromising biodynamic viticulture. This white wine impresses with its gentle skin contact, which grants it grip without sacrificing lightness.
