Color:
Bright straw yellow, radiant and clear.
Nose:
Floral cascades of orange blossom frame the delicate nose, which is like a kaleidoscope in constant change. Citrus, lemon zest, pome fruit, yellow apple peel and kitchen herbs such as chervil and borage outline a fruity, joyful drink.
Mouth
:
The 2018 mixed set from Hajszan Neumann's Ried Weisleiten, made predominantly from Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling and Weissburgunder, is juicy on the palate with a noble phenolic framing. The creamy texture unites as a leitmotif the fully ripe fruit, lined with mild bitterness and finely woven acidity. The Reid Weisleiten is a Nussberg vineyard with limestone and shell limestone weathered soils that provide a cool minerality and fruity tart finish.
