Nose
The 2016 Saint Véran Cuvée " La Combe des Roches" appears grainy and intense on the nose, distinct barley notes, malt coffee and flint shape the masculine attack. Apple, vineyard peach skin, almond and hazelnut join in with oxygen that it demands. The whole underpinned by plenty of compact minerality, hints of honey and butter.
