Colour & Appearance

Muted garnet red with vibrant violet reflections – the unfiltered bottling displays itself naturally cloudy and authentic in the glass.

Nose

Immediately seductive and inviting: dark berries and sour cherries dominate, accompanied by fruit bread, fruit tea and a subtle vanilla note. Fresh herbs, a hint of cranberry and cinnamon add complexity and tension. An aromatic profile that promises pure drinking pleasure.

Palate

Dry, invigorating and remarkably slender at just 11% alcohol. Fine tannins structure without dominating, pink peppercorn brings spicy accents, whilst an animating freshness keeps the wine light-footed and juicy. Soft tannins and vibrant fruit make it a perfect example of uncomplicated elegance – a wine you can’t get enough of.

Finish

Medium-length, fresh and with fine spice that invites the next sip. The fruit fades harmoniously without becoming heavy.

Terroir & Origin

From the biodynamic winery Meinklang at Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland, where the Pannonian climate with warm days and cool nights creates ideal conditions for expressive yet fresh red wines.

Grape Variety & Vinification

A blend of Zweigelt and Sankt Laurent, spontaneously fermented and bottled unfiltered. Natural vinification without oenological tricks allows the grape varieties to speak in their purest form – authentic, vibrant and terroir-driven.
