Nose
The nose of the 2020 Rosato di Ampeleia exudes bright red scents of red apples, small raspberries and blood oranges and is embedded in fine herbal notes. Light-footed with sublime fruit expression, the wet is topped by delicate floral scents in the light red top note.
Mouth
With juicy fruit, the Rosato is tartly contoured on the palate and is carried by the fine tannin input of the stem of the Alicante, as the Grenache is fondly called in Tuscany. Macerated in the must of the Carignan, the wine forms an isosceles triangle on the palate of juicy fruit, distinctive tannin and Mediterranean freshness with a herbaceous finish.
