We know Michael Andres from his cooperation with the champagne house Andres & Mugler. He founded his own wine estate in 1993. The basis of the business were the vineyards of his parents' cooperative, which were gradually planted with Burgundy varieties besides the existing Riesling. Not everything goes into sparkling wine production! In addition to sparkling wine, Michael Andres produces excellent wines that reflect the special terroir of the Mittelhaardt. He cultivates parcels in top locations, such as the Reiterpfad, Herrgottsacker or the Mäushöhle. In this location, he owns one of the few remaining terraced vineyards in the Palatinate.
