Bright golden yellow, radiant and clear.
The 2017 Clos Venturi compresses the Mediterranean aromatics of its origin, the maquis of the karstic island. Rosemary, lavender and fresh laurel mingle with powerful aromas of vermouth and juniper. A fresh sea breeze wafts over everything, adding an iodine-saline component until the sun-dried fruit of orange peel and quince bread reveals itself. Enjoy not too cold from Burgundy glasses with Mediterranean cuisine in large sips.
In the nose complex with high density and enormous thrust it shows itself compact and almost stocky. Aromatically complex, the promises of the nose are also reflected on the palate. With velvety texture and high-pile tannin, the acidity is finely woven, the Vermentino-typical bitterness adds a further aromatic facet to the wine, which unfolds ideally with protein-rich food from the sea. Not too cold and drink from the expensive, large glasses.
