The nose is enveloped by an incomparable freshness that carries the scents of citrus, lime, ginger, mint, lemon balm and basil. All these notes are captivated by the unmistakable minerality that is the characteristic fingerprint of these wines. These wines trigger pure drinking pleasure from the very first sniff.
Pure and refreshing, it meanders across our tongues, tempting us to cue more of it in the very next sip. Its companions of choice on the food front tend to be light dishes with an influence mix of lemon and herbs. Its value for money is on a level that is hard to beat.
Try this with avocado carpaccio garnished with lime and fresh mint, or with a clear tomato soup enriched with prawns and basil dumplings. It is also excellent with cod served with cress puree and garnished with Riesling foam and rapeseed oil.
