Color
Purple red with violet reflections and black core.
Nose
The nose of the 2011 Suisassi is still very restrained at first. After a while in the large glass, clear notes of graphite and a little piment d'Espelette emerge alongside the typical Syrah aromas of black cherries and pepper. The nose promises a complex, powerful wine with dark fruit and fine spice.
Mouth
On the palate, the wine effortlessly delivers what the nose promises. Dark cherries, cherry confit and spicy notes of laurel. The wine has a very dense, complex structure, one thinks he would burst immediately in the mouth. In addition, there is a minerality that gives it coolness and elegance. The tannins are classy and the acidity tickles the dark cherry into the epic finish. Top Syrah!
