Tasting note
Color:
Garnet red with purplish highlights towards the rim.
Nose:
The 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo is still somewhat closed due to its youthfulness. With sufficient oxygen contact, a wealth of aromas opens up to the taster. Aromas of sour cherries and wild raspberries interwoven with fine spices such as cinnamon and clove flow from the glass. Hints of cedar wood and delicate smoky notes complete the animating aroma.
Palate:
On the palate, it has a delicate woody flavour, lots of sweet fruit and a demanding acidity. Nebbiolo in its purest form, elegant, demanding and refreshing. All it needs is the right accompaniment of Italian-inspired cuisine, then it will inspire our senses, what an inspiring introduction to the world of Andrea's finesse-rich wines.
Food pairing suggestions
- Beetroot and nettle ravioli with rowan berries (Vegetable & Vegetarian)
- Baked venison praline with blueberry BBQ sauce and herb-rose-raspberry gel (game)
- Beef tagliata with balsamic marinade, green beans and rosemary polenta (meat)
