Originating from the French Southwest, Petit Manseng fascinates with its extreme character. Its small, thick-skinned berries concentrate abundant sugar on the vine, but thanks to their thick skins, they always retain a razor-sharp, vibrant acidity. In the glass, this rare combination translates into a dense, almost baroque texture with aromas of candied citrus fruits, mango, and honey, which maintains a magnificent drinking appeal thanks to its fine-grained freshness.

Just how versatile this rarity is, is demonstrated by two outstanding wineries. In Alto Adige, Manincor presses a noble sweet elixir full of nobility and playfulness from it. In Tuscany, on the other hand, Corzano e Paterno uses Petit Manseng as a congenial partner in the blend of the white Corzanello, lending the wine a vibrant, Mediterranean freshness alongside Chardonnay and Sémillon.
