Info
Prosa Rosé is based on Zweigelt, Pinot Noir and Blaufränkisch. The vines are planted on sandy-loamy soils with a gravel topsoil.
The harvest took place at the beginning of August. After a short maceration period, fermentation took place in steel tanks. Afterwards, the process continues in pressure tanks. During this process, a slight adjustment of the carbonic acid content also takes place.
With 11.4g of residual sugar and 5g of acidity per litre, the result is a light-footed sparkling wine with
10.5 % Vol.
Color
Bright rosehip rosé with even perlage
Nose
The potpourri of red fruits seems inexhaustible. Raspberry and red currant start things off. You pass by some strawberry and sour cherry. Elderberry and cassis are slightly off to the side. A touch of yellow and red apple complements this in a refreshing way. Only a little hay from the summer grass and wildflower meadow makes an unobtrusive appearance. For all the fruit, however, the nose is quite appealing and varied.
Palate
On the palate, it shows plenty of finesse and refreshing accents. The fruit makes its well-deserved appearance in a clearly reduced form. The mousseux lends some melting, but it is not allowed to last long. The well-balanced acidity comes into play immediately and stops its emerging fullness. Refreshing and clear with pleasantly unripe notes of berry fruit. The fruit then builds up again fully in the finish. Pomegranate makes its full appearance here.
