Wine information
Petite Lily is a Bordeaux Sec made from 100 % Sémillon from limestone. The wine comes from the youngest vineyards and was matured in stainless steel.
Color
pale straw yellow
Nose
The 2022 Petite Lily is an unusually fresh, single-varietal Sémillon that can be drunk young and is therefore a rarity. The wine smells of white flowers, green pears and lemon sorbet with a few leaves of lemon mint and a hint of the wax so typical of the variety.
Taste
On the palate the Bordeaux Blanc sec Fresh and juicy, at the same time full-bodied and flavoursome. As a whole, it is a typical Sémillon with notes of candied lemon peel, some apricot and peach, a little toast and wax. However, the freshness that this wine offers is very successful. The Petite Lily is intended as a "wine for every occasion", and that is exactly how it presents itself. The acidity remains typical of the variety, more silky than demanding, but nonetheless present and lively. A fine further development of the Climens portfolio.
