Tasting note
Color:
Light golden yellow with clear silvery and green reflections.
Nose:
The 2023 Riesling Buntsandstein from Michael Andres impresses with its juicy, fresh and fragrant appearance. Flavours of green apple, fresh grapes, lime, lime zest, passion fruit and elderflower intertwine in a lively manner. A fine minerality tickles the nose and entices you to take your first sip.
Palate:
Playful on the palate, it really puts you in a good mood, the invigorating acidity is present and stimulates salivation, making you look forward to another sip. As always at a fantastic price/value ratio. Light and fruity dishes are best served here.
Food pairing suggestions
- Muscat pumpkin and pearl barley salad with creamy camembert and romaine (vegetarian)
- Sorrel soup with scallop and white bread chip
- Arctic char on cucumber and sour cream vegetables with rice
