Tasting note
Color:
Bright lemon yellow with intense reddish reflections
Nose:
With delicate red fruit flavours and fine nutty accents, it knows how to impress. The 2022 Blanc de Noir from Michael Andres has an intense aroma of red and white currants. It also has delicate hints of cherry, strawberry and raspberry. The subtle mix of wood and leaf leads to the scent of blackcurrant bush wood. The flavours of parsley, sage and thyme, which play a gentle role in the background, also go wonderfully well with this.
Palate:
On the palate, it then appears much more compact and grippy. This creates a very successful first impression and is primarily a pleasure to drink. Behind this dense mouthfeel, a very juicy fruit slowly but surely comes to the fore, accompanied by a positive bitter note. This combination is known to have a positive effect on the drinking experience thanks to its contrasting flavours. The fruit remains bright and lingers long into the finish. The herbal freshness repeatedly provides uplifting moments when savoured.
