Tasting note
About the wine: Spontaneous fermentation, ageing in large wooden barrels.
Colour: Light golden yellow with clear green reflections.
Nose: Its aroma is animating with juicy yellow fruit - apple, pear, meadow herbs and elderflower. Even in the entry-level quality range, you can sense the influence of the soil and a fine minerality at Luckert.
Palate: A wonderfully puristic Silvaner that beguiles with its juiciness. Mirabelle plum combines with peach and apple. The perfect wine to drink on its own or with down-to-earth, savoury cuisine.
Food pairing suggestions
- Onion tart with herb sour cream (Vegetable & Vegetarian)
- Butcher's platter with gherkins (meat)
- Crispy leg of poultry with potato salad(poultry)
