Terroir & Origin

Ribera del Duero, situated on the Castilian plateau at 600 to 900 metres elevation, offers extreme temperature fluctuations between day and night – a key factor in the aroma concentration and natural freshness of the wines. The sparse, chalky soils with gravel and clay content force the vines to develop deep roots and promote concentration whilst maintaining elegance. The continental climate with long, hot summers and cold winters shapes the powerful yet expressive character of these Tempranillos.

Grape Variety & Vinification

Tempranillo – often called Tinto Fino or Tinta del País in Ribera del Duero – finds ideal conditions here.
