Colour
Muted, cloudy golden yellow with honeyed reflections.
Nose
The nose of the 2017 Grüner Veltliner with Attention appears creamy, creamy and full of fruit reminiscent of apricots, apricots and caramelized pineapple. Clear yeasty and bready aromas, the typical peppery spice and a dense minerality give this extremely exciting wine already in the nose framework and a beautiful fullness.
Palate
Fullness and freshness and an electrifying structure and minerality pour over the palate. It appears full of character and pressure and at the same time almost floating and light-footed, also due to the rather moderate alcohol of 12.5 Vol%. In the long finish, the fruit comes to the fore again and also an extremely animating peppery and tart note, which stimulates the appetite for the accompaniment of intense dishes, whereby one can also enjoy such a wine beautifully as a purist.
Food recommendation
Not too cold from the carafe of large glasses, after 1-2 days of previous opening it shows in full beauty.
