Tasting note
Color:
Pale straw yellow with green reflections and a steady perlage.
Nose:
The nose of the 2022 Fleur d'Emely Brut by Andres & Mugler from Ruppertsberg in the Palatinate is characterised by floral notes: White roses, lilac and mace form the top notes of this ambrosial nectar. Delicate citrus notes of lemon oil and its distinctive grapey, vinous character characterise its nature. The nose oscillates between top and heart notes, white peach, borage and young peas sketch him as a cheerful flower child with red cheeks and strawflowers in his hair.
Mouth:
Juicy on the palate, Fleur d'Emely is characterised by its joyfully tart fruit and fine, animating mousseux. Low in dosage, it shines on the palate with its long acidic nerve, always aromatically underpinned by floral nuances of lilac and elderflower. Definitely suitable for the first half of the day.
