IT Julia Bertram and Benny Baltes have been a couple for a long time and formed a dream team for years at the Klingenberg winery. Now they have decided to return to their home on the Ahr and concentrate entirely on Julia's parental vineyard. The balancing act between Franconia and the Ahr was too much. Now you will implement your ideas of organic viticulture in the extreme steep slopes around Dernau. The goal is biodynamic certification and both dream of being able to realise permaculture with sheep in the vineyards. The winery has some of the best sites on the Ahr and Benny conjures up very fine Pinot with depth, always balanced, never loud, but always full of expression and drinking pleasure. For us, the new star in the sky above the Ahr.
