Color
Pale straw yellow with a silver tapered rim.
Nose
The 2018 Weissburgunder Ried Gollin 1. ÖTW from Hajszan Neumann is open-hearted and joyful. With plump yellow pears, meadow flowers, delicate honey notes, hazelnut and kitchen herbs, it has filled its cheeks to the brim and quickly wraps you around its finger. Carried by the long fine yeast storage, it radiates great calm and seriousness.
Mouth
Super juicy on the palate with ripe pome fruit notes of pears, stewed apples and quinces. A fine almond note is a spirited link to the fine tart bitterness, the acidity is elegantly interwoven and carries the ripe fruit with a rich extract. With high viscosity and good pressure on the palate, this young wine has a mineral, chalky finish and is equipped with the best attributes for a few years of bottle ageing.
