Gorgollassa

Gorgollassa is an indigenous red wine grape from Mallorca that had almost completely disappeared and is only being cultivated again through the work of dedicated winemakers such as Mesquida Mora. The variety is one of the historic treasures of Balearic wine culture and is characterised by moderate tannins and vibrant fruit. With only a few hectares remaining under cultivation, every wine made from Gorgollassa is a document of Mallorcan ampelography.
