Color

Light golden yellow, bright and clear.

Nose

Bergamot and orange blossom, green tea and mild spices outline the nose of the 2017 St. Nikolaus by Peter Jakob Kühn. Pickled lemons, lemon balm and Bach mint in the overtone range provide ethereal furnishings, white flowers after jasmine and lilac are grounded by filigree spice.

Mouth

Silky on the nose with viscous flow and contouring tannins, it quickly picks up speed and is accelerated by the driving acidity, which gives it a lot of pace. Like the finest Darjeeling with lemon, the elixir rushes more and more rapidly over the palate that one quickly forgets how well it will drink in a few years with a little bottle maturity. With great depth and complexity it flows with ethereal cool reverberation into the mineral-citric finish.
