Violets and blueberries, elderberries, mallow and mulberries weave the dark fruity velvet robe of the 2018 Morei Teroldego from Vigeti delle delle Dolomiti by Foradori. With typical Teroldego floral top notes, it always seems a bit more opulent on the nose than it ultimately presents itself on the palate.
Mouth:
With silky fine tannins reminiscent of fine-grained sandpaper, the Morei is refreshing, animating and clear on the palate. The dark fruit of the nose dissolves into an experience of transparent fruit, vibrant acidity and pulsating freshness. With an ethereally cool aftertaste, it flows into a fruity, clear finish with an animatingly tart aftertaste. A quick drink with a clear character of origin.
