Nose:
The 2017 Le Boncie 5 convinces on the nose with dense and dark cherry and berry fruit. Earthy hints of forest floor and horse stable give it a stimulating Mediterranean spiciness, as do the distinct herbal notes that bring to mind rosemary and juniper.
Palate:
Its uncomplicated palate shows lots of fruit, dried herbs and the earthy notes of the nose. With its invigorating acidity and fine tannin framework, it is refreshing and clear. Unmistakably Tuscany in the glass, and with pleasure also on the plate in company of the typical kitchen of the country.
