The Domaine Clos Troteligotte was founded in 1987. In the course of time, the winemaker Emmanuel Rybinski has constantly developed himself further. In 2010, it was clear to him that he had to change completely to organic farming. Meanwhile, he also applies biodynamic practices. Biodynamic certification is not possible, however, because the farm also includes some wheat fields that are not managed biodynamically by his neighbour. "In the vineyard I work biodynamically mainly for quality reasons" says Emmanuel. "But we also stand out from the crowd with aging in cement tanks, foudre and amphora" he continues. The success proves him right. A pure Malbec, like the K-2 vinified in the amphora, is rare to find.
