Artuke is a vineyard of just under 30 hectares in Rioja Alavesa, whose vineyards are located at altitudes of up to 700 metres, which is an absolute rarity in the region. Artuke is the winery of Arturo and Kike de Miguel Blanco, whose first names are reflected in the name. The two belong to the Rioja 'n 'Roll group, which is committed to a new Rioja style full of freshness and simultaneous elegance that belongs neither to the historical nor the modernist styles. Artuke's vineyards are mixed sets of Tempranillo with varying proportions of Graciano, Viura, Palomino Fino and Garnacha. From Vin de Soif to Grand Cru, their wines are characterised by very pure fruit, crystal-clear acidity and fine tannins. For Luis Guttiérez, Spain expert at Robert Parker, Artuke has developed into one of the best young family wineries in Rioja. He rates the wines accordingly high.
