Colour
Bright cherry red with blood orange reflections, radiant and clear.
Nose
Red apple peel, green nuts, cranberries, rose hips and herbal decoction paint the picture of this extraordinary Pinot Grigio with a pointed pen. Sharply contoured, the 2018 Fuoripista Pinot Grigio from Vigneti delle Dolomiti by Foradori is extremely tidy and oscillates on the nose between distinctly restrained fruit, typical development notes and delicate spice reminiscent of fresh bread crust.
Mouth
With a silky texture and a generous portion of nuts, it opens the presentation on the palate. The acidity is low, as expected, and so it gets contour through the excellently worked out tannins. The direction is marked by contemporary practicality with a tendency towards the avant-garde, which suits the leitmotif Pinot Grigio well. With extract-rich and tart fruit, it shows itself aromatically from its autumnal, generous side.
