Pedral

Pedral is one of those rare, autochthonous treasures of the cool, Atlantic-influenced north-west of the Iberian Peninsula. In Galicia’s Rías Baixas, this red grape variety produces wines of remarkable freshness. It is distinguished by a delicate acid structure and a fine, red-fruited bouquet reminiscent of fresh sour cherries, pomegranate and subtle wild herbs. Pedral lends structure to cuvées and brings an almost weightless, tangy charm to the glass that pairs beautifully with grilled fish or air-dried ham.

Just how harmoniously the variety fits into the Galician style is demonstrated by the craftsmanship of Attis Bodegas y Vinedos. In the Xion Cuvée Tinto, Pedral combines congenially with the regional partners Espadeiro and Sousòn to create a juicy, invigorating flow of drinking pleasure full of vitality.
