  • 👃 Aroman: Highly mineral with a freshness that reflects the special microclimate
  • 👅 Taste: Very fresh, with depth thanks to the mineral soils and the deep-rooted vines
  • 🎭 Character: Very mineral, fresh and unique thanks to the use of indigenous grape varieties such as Caiño, Souson and Espadeiro
  • 🍽️ Food recommendation: No specific food recommendations were given, but due to its fresh, mineral character, the wine is probably ideal with seafood or fish dishes.
  • Special features: One of the few wineries that cultivates old, almost forgotten autochthonous grape varieties. The location at an altitude of up to 400 metres provides ideal growing conditions.

Attis is the new shooting star from Galicia. The family business from Meaño, a small village on the Atlantic coast, has a unique location. The vineyards lie at an altitude of up to 400m. The local microclimate is dry but not too hot in summer, while there is plenty of rainfall in the mild winters. The soils are sandy with little clay content, which is rather rare in this area. This prevents waterlogging, and the vines are forced to root deeply - ideal conditions, therefore, for extremely mineral and very fresh wines. The sympathetic winemaker Robustiano Fariña cultivates the heritage and tradition of the viticultural culture with extreme dedication and precision. Attis is one of the very few wineries that cultivates old, long-forgotten autochthonous grape varieties such as Caiño, Souson or Espadeiro.
