Color
Bright yellow, bright and clear.
Nose
The nose opens with a citrusy approach, cedro lemons, Moroccan salt lemons and orange blossoms along with a touch of yuzu. Blown by salty iodine sea breeze, the fragrant appearance is peppered with mild spices reminiscent of precious tea of the finest provenance in the overtone range. With increasing aeration, the aromas show themselves in constant change. In the evolutionary cycle of Kühn wines, it is at the beginning of its development with a broad perspective.
Mouth
The 2017 Doosberg Großes Gewächs from Peter Jakob Kühn is finely spicy on the nose with an enormously calm charisma. Interwoven with bright acidity, it is accompanied by tart, slightly vegetal tannins reminiscent of green tea, giving it invigorating verve and youthful attitude. With a delicate viscosity and vertical drinking flow, it shows its jovial side in an open-hearted manner.
