Wine info
This excellent cuvée is made from carefully hand-picked organic grapes from the best hillside vineyards on the north-facing edge of Lake Neusiedl. Our Zweigelt transports us to the Leithaberg in Jois, while our Blaufränkisch brings the characteristic notes from the Golser Ungerberg.

Processing details
The grape harvest and selection is done by hand and is accompanied by a spontaneous fermentation in wood. Following this process, the wine matures for a remarkable 22 months on the lees, in 500-litre wooden barrels.

Colour scheme
An intense violet-red, so dense that it extends to the edge of transparency.

Fragrance palette
The 2019 Pannobile unleashes a seductive offensive of charm on the nose, characterised by black cherries, blackberries, sweet plums, dark chocolate and leather. A nuance of wood smoke paired with wild mint and tarragon complements the opulent aromas and makes the seduction complete.

Taste experience
To take the first sip is to dive into a world of juicy, fresh fruit. The cherry dominates and combines harmoniously with an invigorating acidity, a polished tannin structure as well as a stony minerality, which give the wine a solid grip and finesse despite its charm. A treat for the palate that promises pure drinking pleasure and is ideal for a fine dinner.

Alternative menu suggestion
Try fried quinoa pancakes with a fine mushroom ragout, a hearty tart made of puff pastry filled with feta, green olives and thyme or a juicy steak with rocket and cherry tomatoes.
