Colour & Appearance

Intense golden yellow in the glass, indicating maturity and substance. The sparkling wine displays fine, persistent bubbles – a hallmark of careful traditional bottle fermentation.

Nose

An impressive aromatic spectrum unfolds here: ripe apples and pears meet quince and nutty components. These are joined by dried fruits and a hint of honey, lending the Sekt a creamy, charming depth. Delicate green and citrus notes provide the necessary freshness and tension – a nose that invites lingering.

Palate

Juicy and creamy with perfectly integrated carbonation. The expansive fruitiness is counterbalanced by saline minerality and peppery roasted aromas, making the Sekt complex and multi-layered. At just 11.5% alcohol and crafted as Brut Nature (without dosage), it remains remarkably food-friendly and precise.

Finish

Persistent and elegant with fine yeast notes, indicating extended time on the lees. The nutty components linger, underpinned by saline freshness.

Grape Variety & Vinification

A thoughtful blend of Chardonnay, Auxerrois and Schwarzriesling – an unconventional combination for the Palatinate, but all the more intriguing. The Chardonnay contributes structure and elegance, the Auxerrois creaminess and body, whilst the Schwarzriesling adds additional complexity. The Brut Nature vinification underscores the winery’s confidence.
