Color
Dark purple with violet reflections and black core.
Nose
The 2012 Suisassi from Duemani is a perfectly adapted, Tuscanized Syrah Both the variety and the typical scent of Tuscany are found in the glass. Black cherry and red Kampot pepper mingle with balsamic notes, subtle herbal spice, bay leaf and cherry confit round out the circle. Absolutely caraffieren and drink from big Burgundy glasses.
Mouth
The densest calibration for velvet would be an apt comparison for the tightly woven and dense texture of this wine. High-pile and compact, it settles on the taster's tongue and down the throat. Lush fruit, opulent tannins and a long sweeping acidic arc give this wine the makings for many years of bottle age. However, thanks to its rich features, it is also a pleasure to drink in its youth. Minerality, extract and freshness are the cornerstones of this perhaps best Syrah from Tuscany.
