Caiño Blanco

Caiño Blanco is one of the great discoveries of Galicia, deeply rooted in the Atlantic-influenced valleys of Rías Baixas. This late-ripening grape variety demands patience, but rewards with an enormous inner tension, vibrant acidity, and a salty minerality reminiscent of the nearby sea spray. In the glass, it reveals a dense texture, carried by citrus notes, herbs, and a fine grip that lends it depth and ageing potential.

The versatility of this rare speciality is beautifully demonstrated by the wines of Attis Bodegas y Vinedos. In the single-varietal “Atalante”, it reveals its full, noble stature. That it is also suited to unconventional paths is proven by the “Sitta Rosado”, in which it merges with Espadeiro and Pedral to create a complex rosé that pairs excellently with grilled fish and seafood.
